Yesterday I had my rig SuperLined at Mudrak's. Alberto did an awesome job. Very professional with a lot attention to detail. The price is very reasonable. If you are interested give Gary I call. Disclamer: I'm in no way associated with Mudrak's. I'm just a happy customer.

Nice look Alvaro! The grey is very nice.
So...why did they need to remove the rear bumper?

Doug,

They removed the rear bumper so they could paint all the way down on the sides.
I was concerned that it would be hard to remove the Slee Bumper after 2 years of off-roading. But it came right out, no problems.

That looks really nice Alvaro. I like the grey very much.

Certainly better than a ripped off flare or two, no? ;)

Looks sweet, what was the carge if you don't mind my asking? He's in CA right? What part?

Alvaro, beginning to look like a LX450. I knew you were secretely jealous of Doug and myself. I guess now that Doug has done away with the body cladding I will have to look at mine.
Cheers,
Sean

Sean,

You have unveiled my secret plans.... I wanted my truck to look like a Lexus and so I could be in the sophisticated crowd. Now that you have revealed my intentions, I guess there's nothing left to do but to keep wheeling the same way. ;)

Are you coming to Surf & Turf?

Regards

Alvaro

Safado,

Mudrak's is in Sonoma, CA.
I believe the price starts around $400. Mine was a little more expensive because they had to repair some digs, plus there's an additional charge if you want a custom color (other than black). Still very reasonable.

Alvaro,
Looks great and nice color.

Any chance of you posting on your site or linking to here a real high res pic so we can see the texture? Is it grainy, smooth or rubbery at all?

It is a bit grainy, and lumpy, More so than say grip tape....it is totally rubbery, like dried rubber cement, and it is pretty shiny when the sun hits it just right. I would put it at high gloss. Texture is pretty big, more so than line x or rhino. Gary said the hi gloss is also a part of it's high UV resistance. Both him and I saw Marine equipment, that had been sitting in a salty, sunny environment, for 5-10 years and looked like new....The stuff seems pretty tough. It is called 'superliner', distributed by

www.simmons-industries.com

Although not many peeople use it. I will post up some close ups this week.....

When I get home tonight I will post a closeup picture.
The paint feels like a grany plastic cover. I would say almost flexible. I don't know if it's because it's still fresh. It hasn't been too warm or dry for that matter for the last couple of days.

Regards

Alvaro
