After I installed the new blistein I am getting rear supension clunk, and I have checked and make sure is tie down good, but it still making that clunk noise from the rear.
Have anyone have the same problem? How to fix it?

Thank you

How are your bushings setup?

edit: I know it's hard to see, when I swap shocks I prop my iPhone 4 on the frame with camera app open and flash light on the top of the shock. Tighten down until the bushing bulges slightly. Bilstiens are the WORST shock to install on the 100. Truly a PITA

make sure they are tight, the hole for the shock is a lot larger than the shock itself and the bushings need to be tight to isolate it in the hole.

driveshaft clunk? Or only on bumps? If only on bumps...large bumps or small repetitive bumps? My front only does it on small bumps. I read somewhere that many people with Bilstiens have the clunk. I think it may be the nature of the shock since it is much stiffer than the OME/OEM/Ironman.

Did you mess with the springs, they may not be properly clocked into place.

Nop, did not mess with the springs. Just mess with the shock, and busted my knuckle :-) And that clunk is not there all the time, but it clunk when it want to over small bump and turn.

I was having a clunk on the trail this weekend and it turned out to be that the underside bolt that holds the rear driver's side sway bar bracket to the frame had snapped. So every time there was a load on the sway bar, the bracket would clank against the frame.

Did you disconnect the sway bars or any of the other bars when you installed the shocks?

Is it possible that you didn't put the washers on the shock in the right order so it's not seated correctly?

Did you replace the lower shock bolt with a new one when you did the install? I dont' know how that might affect it.

I had a set of Bilsteins for one week. I had really high hopes for them but I had a nasty thud/clunk when the suspension extended rapidly. The shocks were topping out due to the shorter lengths compared to stock. I spoke to an engineer at Bilstein and they think the valving is incorrect for "my" application because I'm running 33" tires. Whatever. Fortunately, Autozone gave me a full refund without any questions.

Currently, I have the reverted to the stock shocks and they are performing perfectly.

Sounds like you need someone else to jump on the bumper while you look underneath to properly diagnose.

My Blistien broke and I yanked on it many times and could not get it to replicate the noise.

Sounds like advice for an ex but...
Grab a fat guy and have him go for broke.

Out of all the bilsteins installed on 100's only a few have this clunk.

When installing the rear you need to hand tighten then grab the shock body and pull it to make sure it's centering in the mount. Then torque.

There may have been a change in specs in the newer models... Bilstein could not verify. Your rig with Bilsteins rode completely different than mine.
