Reading through everyone's sun visor posts and various options (LS400/430, 100 Series, etc.) for my FZJ80.
Is anyone using the dual visor newer LX/LC setups (primary & secondary per side)?

Listing says '98 - '02, and the specific vehicle they came from was 2002.

1st gen Tundra has a similar or maybe identical setup. The secondary visor has its own pair of screws that mount to the roof, and it looks to me like these do as well. I can't tell whether these have it, but the Tundra version also has a little sliding extension that will slide in behind the mirror in the lowered position, or give you a little extra coverage when swung over to the door.

I definitely like them on the Tundra and I keep meaning to see if my Tundra visors will fit, but I always think about it when I'm busy with other crap. I think the secondary visor will be the challenging part, unless you want a couple of sheet metal screws sticking out the front of your roof... I think you'd want to pop the headliner down to see whether there's an inner structure in the right place to attach them.

I ordered them. We had similar ones on our '18 LX570 and loved them. I'll be dropping the headliner and fabricating or 3D printing whatever mounting & reinforcements I need. Fingers crossed the length & width are suitable. If not, I'll resell 'em. I will report back, and will also capture necessary dimensions & any print files for mounts & adapters for replication by others.
