Any pics and suggestions on the newest black rims on the market or some older wheels that look good? will have the arb, 4x4 labs bumper setup.

Here are the wheels I put on my rig. They're shod with 35 x 17" BFG M/T's with a 2.5" suspension lift and 1.75" body lift.

Those looks sweet! I was leaning to the fuel krank, but those look really good. Debating between all black or a little bling with the krank. I keep going black to a more subdued look. Thx!

Are those zero offset? Stick out just enough? Looks good. Any reason you went 17" instead of 18"?

Bomar said it perfectly. I did my research and found that 17" tires are the most popular, largest range of sizes and usually least expensive than any other rim size. I just want to be sure if I ever grenade a tire far from home, I can be pretty sure I can still get the same tire to replace it.
Regarding offset, I do not have any spacers on these wheels, they are mounted straight on. I do not recall what the offset was on these when I purchased them. The model number on the box may help if you could Google that. That's why I put a photo of the wheel box, for questions like these that I can't answer any longer... ;)

yeah im looking for something zero offset also but im not sure how wide. keep us updated and see if you have balancing issues. i had 18x8.5 with slightly more positive offset than zero on a 4Runner and i had a little issues with balancing after about 5-6 years. the tread burned more on the inside of the passenger front wheel. not sure the direct issue, could have been a few things, but before i go and touch the suspension with dreams of tires like yours, i want to make sure the truck stays ok. i was looking at 17x10 and 18x9. anyway good luck.

heres the 4Runner. the wheels were almost flush with the fenders and the tires stuck out only about half an inch. tires were between 32-33. 2 1/2 inch factory suspensions sagged down through the years to about 1.5 at the time of the photo.

As a matter of fact, I did have wear issues with my tires. But... that was because after a year and a half I decided I didn't like the "stink-bug" look any longer and torqued my TB's without getting an alignment right away. My bushings also went out on my steering rack, basically, my entire alignment went to shot and before I realized it and took corrective action, I had to get new set of tires at about half tread. I went and purchased new 17"x35" BFG M/T's (same as before) this last December and they have been fine, just like the last ones. This time, I'm not messing with the TB's and I have all new bushings in my steering rack!! (It sits how I like it now anyways...)

Black wheels certainly look great on this color 100! I may have to think about doing that (or graphite?) soon. I have been driving mine for a few years, might be time for a visual update.
