After much blood, sweat and a few tears my 79 BJ40 is in a Maersk container Maggie is headed for Port Everglades Floriduuuh. Only body parts re-used were the hood, hood side skirts and firewall/dash panel. Body mfg by same company who supply's large Toyota Land Cruiser parts distributor out of Texas. Complete rebuild of drivetrain including Nitro 3.7-1 upgrade. New Kwikwire electrical, new 5-5-5 brake system, Hell For Stout suspension 2.5" lift, cabin sound proofed. I did mechanical and paint done by local/loco Tico. More to follow on the construction of my baby girl. Happy Trails in June as we will be traveling north to Alaska from San Francisco to drown some worms. Any reviews of the current condition of the AlCan highway greatly appreciated.

Looks like they over tightened the shackle bolts and the steel looks compressed inward … your going to want to loosen them so the shackle moves… you may need to straighten them out as well
I did all the mechanical amd the shackles are torqued to Cool Cruiser spec's. I appriciate your feedback. Which photo are you basing you observation on. I would like to check it out. Thanks again...
