Done this since I've gotten it, just wondering if it is just a normal Cruiser thing.

Whenever I depress the brake pedal (maybe an inch or two) I get a click.

The switch for the brake lights is up under there. It is a pushbutton type of switch and when you depress the pedal it turns on the switch. Take a look under there and you should see it - high under the dash where the arm of the pedal travels. I think the switch is round and will have some wires leading away from it. Once you locate it, move the pedal and see if that's it - if not you may have other issues.

It COULD also be a car bomb switch. You should trace the wiring to make sure.
