For road use....

Cooper Disco AT3 LT
265/75/r17

running 40/38 F/R but fronts seem to still be quite soft and visibly splaying out at contact point. just curious if anyone else is runnnig these and under what pressure are you running them at? Unloaded car with just me and a kid / dog for weright!

That seems too high. 34 psi would be normal light load pressure. What truck are these on?
I run them on my Tundra and it's 32 F&R, I just prefer a couple extra pounds but they track properly.

These are E rated tire. They are really durable. From having my tundra for 3 yrs it would seem these are almost
the most favoured and common stock tire used. I run E rated tired on my Land Cruiser which normally would be
over kill but on solo wanders way out there tires are not ever a concern.

I had a magazine guy tell the way to figure out what your real t/p should be is to run a chalk mark across the tread and drive it down the road. Then adjust air pressure until the chalk is worn off evenly across the tread pattern. Saw one 'van' running 12psi on the street for nearly three(3) years with zero problems. You efforts may vary.

Been doing it like that since before I had the shop.

I run 285/75/16 E discoverer AT3 LT on my 80 and KO2s on my 2nd gen Tacoma. Both are at about 38psi. The discoverers have a rounder looking sidewall profile and definitely not as stiff as the KO2. That being said, the ride quality on the Discoverer is much better than the KO2. I’d say your situation is normal.

Apologies for a late reply.

Landcruiser 100 v8.

Fronts show a little spreading at contact point but given the weight at the front end, feels ok on the road.
Backs are a little less PSI but a lighter end of the car. They're not spreading out as the fronts are, but also don't feel "solid" when I'm hitting bumps in road so not harsh.

Considering the tread on them, they do seem nice on the black top.

Yeah I figured I was not far off the money. Cheers....
Did around 20km on corrugated hard pack gravel. Should have let some air out - whole car was shaking :)
