Sorry for using the "J" word here but the sooner I sell this one, the sooner I can build My FJ40. Plus not much on it is jeep anyway soo....

Up for sale is one of the cleanest CJs you will find. Everything was done by professional car builders and restorers in the San Diego area. The body and frame were both cut and stretched to LJ Unlimited specs which increases the wheel base about 10" and the body tub about 15". It Is highly modified to improve drivability, capability, and capacity. This CJ has very nice road manners and is very comfortable on the freeway at 75mph with plenty of power, great breaking, a fairly soft ride, and no bump steer. It is also very capable off road with a wider than stock stance, longer wheelbase, plenty of ground clearance, long travel suspension, locking diffs, and the power/torque of a fuel injected 5.0 liter Ford High Output engine. The extra body length (about 15") gives the rear passengers a few extra inches of leg room as well as the extra cargo space in the rear.

The build lasted more than 8 years and has been on the road for less than a year. It now has a little over 2,500 miles of mixed freeway/city driving with absolutely no issues. The Jeep was built to be a driver and to enjoy on the streets as well as the trails (no trailer necessary). It was specifically built to fit inside of a standard garage door with the top up. There is a very long list of parts/modifications that went into this Jeep to make it as strong as possible and very capable off-road. Titled as a 1968 so pre smog. I am sure I have left some items out but have done my best to accurately describe the meticulous build/restoration. There is over $75,000 invested in this CJ.

I know its a Jeep and everything but only $35 bucks?? I'll take it!!

But seriously, clean looking truck. Good luck with the sale. This beast looks like it can go anywhere.

Wow. That beautiful, good luck with the sale...

That is a nice jeep, and it's actually a jeep, not a chrysler.

Well at least with Chrysler it would be "trail rated" and you can't put a dollar value on that.:D

That's a beautiful, beautiful build. And while I'm a Yota guy, I do respect the crap out of the late model Power Wagon and Rubi, both of which are ChryCo products. Just sayin'.

Good luck with the sale...

Will be at king of hammers this weekend if anyone wants to look at or test drive the jeep.
