Driving home today, I got a weird oil leak out the front of the cruiser. Nice clean oil coming out. It appeared to be near the bottom of the radiator on the passenger side. Anyone seen anything like this before? Cruiser was running fine when I dropped it at the local mechanic. Hope it's nothing crazy serious. It was flowing but not to fast.

It is oil. The ps fluid is nasty. The oil looked brand new. Is the oil filter visible from the top?

What he said^^^
To check the oil filter, lay underneath the front of your truck. If you still have OEM skids, look for a big round plastic disk and pull it off. Look inside and you will see it. If you have aftermarket look for a round hole big enough for the filter.

Mechanic called and said I had a coolant leak and needed a radiator. I asked about the oil and they said what oil? UGH! May need to retrieve LC and move to fixing this myself.

Yep. Woops. Need a new radiator. They want $700 to replace. Going to pick it up and put in a new radiator this weekend.

New radiator was delivered in under 2 hours to my house.

I have the old radiator out and the new radiator waiting to go in. On a con call now.

Hope to be back together by 5 pm.

Yes i did. New radiator. The coolant looks and feels like clean motor oil. My radiator was leaking at the weld in the top. No other leaks. Replaced in he driveway. All in was $350. $80 of that was for the shop to tell me it was coolant and not oil. This happened at 198k miles. The replacement was straight forward. The old coolant is very messy and nasty. Have lots of old towels, buckets and fluid absorption pellets around.
