This'll teach me once and for all....

picked up a set of 1984 minitruck axles, left them at JJ''s Fab, and guys use them under the Aggressor chassis...bastards...

picked up this 1983 minitruck, and I stop by on Thursday night....bastards decided they wanted to compete in a TuffTruck comp on Sunday, so my rig became the doner...they STARTED with a bare hulk on Thursday at 5pm....

photo#1 is the 400 motor from Jon's race bus...YES, he races that thing yearly at the Eve of Destruction....that is one REALLY build motor too!

photo#2 is stripping the front axle...class required 2wheeldrive, so at least they saved the inners and birfs...

photo #3 is the the glass out and one pic of the first bar if the in-cab cage getting installed....

two more pics.....attaching the automatic (they had to make a custom driveshaft) and another shot of the cage install....

Apparrently, they raced on Sunday, but flipped...some bent sheetmetal, the fuel cell didn't wanna stay put, and they used some FoxAirs all around, and ended up with a bent one...

carnage pics tonight...

....so much for my winter project....lol
