STOLEN: '87 4Runner Vancouver, WA

Hey All,

The 'Runner was stolen right out in front of the house last night; proof that even rigs that appear to be POS's can get lifted. It is stock faded red with a white tailgate and Air Force plates. The rig was stock with running boards and even the valence on the front. And it has no grill. It had a rebuilt 22re from a Celica with the knock sensor on the block boss, the motor was painted green by the PO.

It is too bad we can't form some kind of 'Yota guild to watch each others backs...

If you guys could keep an eye out; I would appreciate it. And if you are looking at parts, keep an eye out for the motor as well.

Sorry to here about the theft. If things are stolen in my area, they end up in Mexico within a few hours. Your description should stand out a bit. Good luck getting it back.

I scoured both of our PC's and cameras, my wife and I both turned up with nothing. I found a picture on the web and posted it on Yotatech here (I noted the significant differences underneath the photo):

It is the stock faded red w/red cap, glossy white tailgate, no grill, tarnished sr5 wheels, running boards. It also has Bilstein HD's all the way around and I did an experimental ZUK coil mod in the rear utilizing 50lb/in Eibach springs. The stock graphics are white but getting rusty as well. The front left fender is beat up, as is the lower valence and a little of the bumper.

3 of my friends have had trucks stolen from there. there is a major toyota theft ring up there.

122nd/gher road is where you should be looking. look on the side streets south of the space coffe place
