I just purchased a 2" Ironman Lift from metaltech. I am wondering what tire size will fit on the stock rims without significant rubbing issues. I've been looking at 275/70/17 but I'm not sure how well they will work with the stock wheels. I have seen a lot of info here on tire size and lifts but most have aftermarket wheels and/or spacers. I want to stay away from spacers also. Does anyone have experience with the stock wheels and a 2" lift?

I failed to mention that I have removed the running boards.

I am running KO2's that are 265/70/17. KO'2 are a little bigger then regular suv tires.

Thank you, I am wanting KO2s. That size looks plenty big. I don't think I want to go any larger.

I have the Ironman setup with UCA's, run with Cooper ST Maxx 265/70/17 on stock wheels. No rubbing issues.

Great tire. On and off road. Mine rubbed a little on the splash guard. I heated and moved it a little. I see a slight rub on the upper control arm. I don't feel it or even know when it happens. It never happens on the road. But once off road I see the slight rub. Like I said I never feel it.
Good luck. I would possible go bigger next time. Maybe 275/70/17. But I am sure I would agonize over that change as well. Not sure its worth it. Truck does pretty darn good as it is. You know how we fiddle with things.
