Stock alternator to Sequoia/Tundra

Anyone on here do it to an HDJ-80? It has more than enough amps, and it's far cheaper and easier to get here in the US. Mine is a meager 60 amps....

Ive used it on 2 hdt’s. They have been a fair amount of trouble. They work fantastic but the tensioner bracket and other bolting has been a constant failure on mine, I’ve failed 5 mounting bolts in cluding 2 grade 8 7/16 bolts i swapped in. Not sure what the issue is. That and i just cant seem to get a good tensioner bracket.

You also need a custome pulley for them to work. Was a guy on here making them for a while for the 1fz but not sure he is still.

Hello . . as you can see some mods to the bracket had to be done ... very minor if any to the alt itself.

IIRC this was a couple of years ago I did it ..
