Stock 97 Lx450 Need Insight On Mods

So i have finally decided that im gunna go with the 4" slee kit on my rig and im also gunna throw on some 35" BFG All-Terrains to i can still get good on-road since its my DD. I am also putting on a ARB Bullbar to start the off the armor perspective. I was originally gunna go with the 4" OME comp kit but i really liked the extra parts in the slee package so i went ahead and just ordered that instead.

Now im just wondering what other mods i need to add as far safety AND performance. Planning on re-gearing soon after the installation is complete but i dont know whether to go 4.88 or 5.29?

Future mods:
Rear bumper (debating the tire mount)
Lockers
Slee Tube Sliders
CDL, 7 Pin Mod
Wheel Spacers 1.25" or 1.5"
Snorkel

There is alot of info on here on gear choice is best for you. What I've read here in past posts is that most people with DD use 4.88, and the people who wheel and crawl alot use the 5.29's. This is my understanding correct me if I'm wrong. I too have an LX and I'm going with 4.88 with 35's. My rig is not a DD but I think for my purpose 4.88 are good for me.

Hi - just checking, have you been to the FAQ - Mods page?

My .02, I'd get those sliders on before worrying about the ARB bumper. And before that, I'd baseline the PMs (fluids/belts/hoses/etc.) if the truck is new to you.
