Stock 94 FJ80. Biggest Tire?

Hello all,

Does anyone knows what is the biggest tire I can fit on my 94 FJ80 without rubbing or having to cut fenders? Truck is stock. No lift... Yet. I would greatly appreciate anyones input.

Plenty of info on this in the 80's section. You can easily go 285/75/16's on a stock lift. I did before my lift w/o issue. I think anything larger you might encounter some rubbing completely flexed out or turning.

Thanks for the info!! Ive heard of some people running 295's w/o any problems too. Better safe (with the 285's) than sorry. If anyone else has other input please feel free to share.

Thanks... I did search. Some people say 285's are the biggest while others say 295. I order my tires from out of state and need a proven fit and ok from someone who has gone down the same road before spending a bunch of cash on tires that don't fit. thanks again
