Not really sure what everyone means when they say drive-line "vibration", but I'm assuming it is more or less shaking. Just really thought about it, but the problem occured a week ago on my trip to Wilmington.

The problem:

The entire truck would vibrate right around 70mp, quit from 77-79, and then remain at any speed above 80.

The question:

Is this drive-line vibes? Possible brake issue? Bad caster? Poor DS balance?

The solution:

You tell me...

The drive line vibration often spoke about here is a result of lift, although dry or worn u-joints can cause vibration at stock heights,

I would take the shafts out and remove the lube from the slip splines and add some new grease and lube the u-joints, do not add too much to the slip splines or the shafts will not compress like they should, over lubed slip splines can cause vibration also.

If that does not fix have your tires road force balanced and checked for cupping.

If it is not those check back.

I'll do the DS removal and regreasing, if it's the tires, I wont worry about it. They'll be off soon enough to make way for the 285s on 16s!

Check that the front prop's UJs are out of phase.
