Stock 80 with 305's??

Thinking of going to 305's on an LX450 (80 series) but I'm afraid of how it will perform offroad at full flex or going over bumps/ruts around 15-20 mph. I've heard you'll need a little trimming but is there a chance I'll still scrub? You guys think I'm being a bit to forward and should go with 285's?

I'd search for more info, its been discussed many times. I stuffed 315's on stock suspension. Not much room to flex.
