replace the whole setup. Just replacing the speaker wont do you much good as the stock amp that powers that sub doesn't put out enough power to push a decent sub. It may cost more initally to add a new sub/amp setup, but in the long run you will be a LOT happier. Just my 2cents..

The stock woofer size is six inches.
I replaced mine with a JL drop in one. If you wanted bass out of it then you would need a new 75-100 watt amp.
If I were you I would just buy a new deck, speakers all around, an amp, and a 10-12 inch sub.....

stock sub = SUX

just tear that fawker out..and use that space for a nice amp/speaker setup. 10-12in fits nicely in there. if you are dapper with tools..maybe you can build a nice enclosure..otherwise most autosound shops can build something relally nice for ya.

Where did you get the 6" jl?
[/quote]Audio Specialists Kona....

But you can get it pretty much at any audio store........And they might install it for free(or it's not that hard to DIY).
