I am hiring, full time. I am looking for someone interested in building Land Cruisers. I am more interested in the right attitude more than experience. Looking for someone in their 20s-30s. This is a ground floor opportunity as currently it is just me.

EDIT: Now also looking for someone with some experience.

Take a look at my web site, if it interests you, shoot me a PM or E-mail

Can I work remotely? ;)

Passed around to friends and family in Greenville, SC. Sounds like an incredible opportunity.

I don't know about incredible, but indeed an opportunity. Someone that wants to work and proves trustworthy and does well can earn a good living.

Thank you for passing this along.

I got two potential candidates. They can work for room and board. As long as you can tolerate to constant prattle...
Let me know I'll ship'em down. Child labor laws be damned.

Wow, Jim shipping off his boys, Dave offering up Nathan, I can get into breaking all kinds of labor laws. Oliver Twist comes to mind.

Still Hiring

Also considering " Stan's Cross Fit Garage" One day buffing out the roof of a 60, next day up under a truck on a lift wire wheeling off what is left of the OEM under coating, arm up over your head for hours. To mix things up, next day installing 3/4" sheets of plywood on the inside of the barn. Next day four hours in front of the blast cabinet. So instead of hiring someone, I charge people to come and perform tasks that somehow seem like work instead of work out :)

Somebody has to know someone looking.

Good luck Stan. We hire about 8 guys for every one that makes it past the probationary period.

Hey Sam! I'll be happy to hire one. I have reached out to three different trade schools, waiting to hear anything back from them. Spartanburg teaches mostly toward graduates being a dealer tech. Isothermal has a welding program and a recently closed auto body program. They are now putting together a "restoration" program.

I've been to every parts store in the area and spoke with managers. The reality is I will most likely end up poaching someone from one of these places or another auto business. I am hoping that Heather's research concluding that the generation after the Millennials, 23 and younger are more driven due to growing up during the recession of 08 proves out.

I can not bring myself to advertise on CL. I get enough crazies when I sell something there. I can not imagine who would show up.

An example of what we see.

Brought one guy on afte 720 hours with a temp agency on Monday and fired him for a zero tolerance policy issue on Friday.

Brought two temp agency folks on Monday, one made it to mid shift on Tuesday and the other left midday Friday ....

Good luck!

I am now also looking for someone with some experience.
