STIHL Oiler Repair (Most Even Model #s) (2 Viewers)

Checked for blockage and none. I am confused on where the wire clip is supposed to attach. When I installed it it just would spin all the way around not contacting anything. This could be my problem am I right?

Took oiler totally apart and everything looks fine. The one question I have is where is the clip supposed to hook into? When I installed the new gear and clip the clip didn't contact anything. Is this how it is supposed to be?

It sits/locks in the groove in the back of the sprocket drum.

No bar oil getting to the bar on my 036. It Drips from adjustment screw when running. Sound like oiler and adjustment screw?
