My wife told me her 92 fj80 was shifting hard. I looked at and adjusted the kick down cable and it helped a little but still shifted hard from time to time. I figured out the kick down cable is sticking. I tried getting some lube down it but hasent seemed to help. I guess I need to replace it. Anyone have experience with this? Tips? Can't find much cruiser specific info online.
