My Sthil MS290 (1992 vintage) is not getting oil to the bar.
I recently read some earlier posts that D'Animal was great at helping solve a problem on another model of Sthil. I'm having a similar problem with my MS290 and I was able to take a portion of the chain saw apart. If you have any pictures or steps for this model I would sure appreciate that D'Animal. I was able to take a good portion of the chainsaw apart but didn't see the same type of setup as you posted earlier. I didn't know if this model only has the pump or if it has a similar plastic gear that needs changing buried somewhere. I don't know how to get down to the pump or the gear if it exists. Thanks in advance for any help.
