Don't have my PC, and am having trouble searching on the iPad. hopefully the search police will forgive me.

See below pic. Can someone quickly point out what the two RCA type connectors are on the bottom right? Are they both for the am/fm antenna? Or is one for my sat antenna input? Or none of the above?

If that is your stock head unit, they should both be AM/FM antenna inputs. One is for the front mast and one is from the rear window antenna. If replacing with an aftermarket unit, you can get a splitter to use both if you have only one antenna input on the new one.

The big one is the for the primary antenna (front PS fender), the smaller is the diversity antenna that is on the PS rear window. The radio automatically switches to the antenna with the strongest gain. Aftermarket radios only use the primary.

^^ nice phone sig . . .

Bringing back another ol thread!! I have a Pioneer unit with poor signal using only front antenna, does anyone have a link or can tell me where I can purchase a adapter to run both? I bought a Metra piece but it didn't work, the rear antenna cable is smaller than front!

Did not realize there are 2 antennas. I like to know as well if there is an adapter to run both. My alpine do not have a good signal.
