I am going to put a stereo in the 45, and I refuse to cut the dash. So, I am thinking of putting the radio in the glove box. I would like to see where you guys are putting your speakers in the crampish 45 cab. Any help and pics are appreciated.

I've installed two in the box. I bought the deck with a remote control.
Works good.

Peter,

Thanks for the link.

Tony,
you can put it under the dash, if you find a vintage radio
have a german link ( they equip these old radios with modern components (stereo ....)
would think about that
original car radios for classic cars

Did not even think of that, Thanks!

Or you could put it under the seat?

Did you mount the stereo on a slide out?

No, It's not a slide out. Very similar to this product.

Speakers are 4" mounted near the kick vents.

Depends on how nice of a stereo you are wanting to use. I put mine in the dash. There is a Pioneer radio/cassette player that fits into the dash hole without cutting. The radio trim needs to be cut down a bit to fit between the dash pads, but nothing on the truck needs to be cut.

Then, I used the existing speaker mount on the PS and bought another and mounted it on the driver side. Both using existing factory mounts and holes and keeps the speakers up out of the way. Little speakers, but enough for my use.

Thanks for the Becker site. I need to replace the original Mexico for my 107. Unfortunately, it was "thrown out" in the 80's. Are those radios rebuilt or new? Will they work in the US?

Mark they are rebuilt,
do they work in US, good question would ask the seller ....
.... but they ship worldwide so I think they do.

Check out this stereo....haven't used it but I plan to install one in my 45lv in the near future. If you haven't done anything by then, I'll give you my feedback on it.

As far as speakers go, I'm planning on putting a couple enclosed speakers under the front bench and maybe a couple in the cargo area.
