Steering Wheel!

[Archie 1962 FJ25]

For some reason I can not mount steering wheel from "68 fj40" on FJ25. I noticed the steering shaft on 25 is thicker then the one on the 40 so as the spline area.

wondering what you guys did?

Maybe the "68 40" wasn't? Yep, there are two E40 steering wheels with the difference being the splined hole diameter...I forget the years...but a 40 wheel of the earliest vitage should fit....or get a "68 40" steering column to fit your new wheel, it should fit the 25!

They changed the splines in the middle of 68, maybe you got a later one..
