Trying to tighten up couple little things on new to me 2010 model. Would like to replace steering wheel mounted volume button. Worn as seen in pic. Toyota quoted me almost $500 for button due to both right and left side buttons on wheel have to be replaced as kit?? Any source where I can just replace the one button?? Is that possible? Functions fine. Just cosmetic. Thanks I’m advance

I replaced both sides a few years back due to the same issue. I think my buttons were worn on the other side so i may have a spare for the volume control that you are looking for. Ill check later tonight. Here is the part number and link to purchase new if needed. Less then half of what toyota quoted and only takes a few minutes to install at home.

That would be awesome. Thanks bud. Let me know what I can give you for it Thanks again

You are welcome. So I Did a little digging and the part numbers are different for your 2010 and my 2013. The only difference may be that the right hand side control switch on the 2013 has the adaptive cruiser control buttons. So possibly the left hand side control switches are the same. Would you post a couple more pictures of your steering wheel.

If yours won’t work then no worries. Thanks for checking and providing the above link for McGeorge

Unfortunately my old control switch buttons are worse off than yours. Also the wiring connects both sides together so you will need one specific to your year.

No problem. Thank you for digging yours up and looking. I think I may just order the new set as it does not appear that I can just switch out that one button. How difficult is it to change them out? Any specific tools needed? Is this a diy job? Thanks again

Your welcome, wish I could have been more help. I searched youtube and found some videos of various toyota models showing how to disassemble the steering wheel to swap out the controls. I cant remember which one I used but this one looks helpful. Took me no more then 15min with basic hand tools to complete the job in my driveway.

Heres another one from a Rav4 replacemnt looks similar to how the job went on my 200.
