Having a tough day with my 94 FZJ80. PS Steering knuckle arms sheared away from my steering knuckle this morning. Apparently I have failed to monitor my knuckle studs, and they came loose until the last one sheared during a U-turn--fortunately, into my driveway.

Anyone nearby have suggestions? Knuckle parts? And plz let me know if duplicate threads are verboten.

That's a relatively common failure point (relative to the low percentage of failure points on the 80). Often the female threads in the knuckle get stripped or the studs shear, caused by the nuts coming loose. It's a good idea to have those nuts on the list of things to check the torque on regularly. You can repair the knuckle with Helicoil style inserts, but they are usually difficult to source quickly. A search in the 80 series section here on 'Mud will pop up some threads for sure.
