If the race is the same OD as the one you knock out, and the cone ID is the same as the one you took off, as long as there is not a massive height difference between the two, they should work fine.
Do you still have an old cup and cone?
If so, set the cone in the cup, and compare that to the new one...
Above all, if you are not comfortable with what you have, do not use it.
I have not found an aftermarket bearing that has the identical taper, and number of rollers as the Toyota bearings, but I have not broke out my bearing interechage book yet either, which is where I am headed..
