Steel Rims

I see alot of FJ's in Fla with black steel rims. Over 50%. What gives???

They're standard...and the best choice, IMHO.

Steelies are best on the trail as they can be hammered back into place for a fix when you hit a rock, etc.

Aluminum is not quite as forgiving in that if it doesn't skim off and scratch, it will break.

If you wheel, steel is the deal!

For some wild reason, It does not look like the people in the Cruisers are wheelers. But I may be wrong.
