honestly i've seen more diamondplate on 40s than i have on jeeps but then again, i am a newb...

so the trucks in the shop right now and the rear right quarter was really dented and wrinkled so i thought i'd replace it with diamondplate. even this doesn't justify it?
 
Listen, do what you want to it. But I'm telling you, No matter what happens you'll get rust underneath the diamond plate. Just remember that a few folks tried talking you out of doing something that'll screw the body on the truck rather quickly.

Most of the 40s with diamond plate corners are rusted to hell in those spots. All you're doing is hiding crap under it. Leave it until you get the funds to repair it correctly.
