I talked to alan yesterday as well, but I was unable to determine if it had a new water pump/timing belt. Is the consensus that this price is so good that someone should buy it despite that costly item?

90k service would have had to be done at some point. Figure another $1200 for the next 100k miles. Interior was really, really clean. The '04s I've seen at <$18k have all been really trashed/250k++ miles. An 03 in Arizona with 250k miles just sold today for $13,900. At $15k, things go quick. I look at it this way--"better" tranny (well 5 speeds), interior a big step up from Gen 1 Nav, shifter "cleaner".....just more modern in almost every way.

Yep. Window shopping....sort of.

My next one will (hopefully) be a lifetime (20+ year) rig: full expo build around a diesel conversion. Long term project though.

Is it just me, or does the pictures link not work? I'm in ATX and pretty interested... Wouldn't mind seeing it before going over there.

This is NOT the "steal of the year"...this is current market value pricing minus an "I have an 03'-07 100 series" bias...these things are going CHEAP right now....just sayin

Agreed. Friend back east just picked up an 03 with ~140k on the ticker for 14k......Most people don't want to drive a beast this size anymore....good and bad for us I guess.....
