SR 87 road construction 10-3-2010

SR 87 road construction sucks <link right now north of 4 peaks road.
Dead stop to a crawl for several miles. Going north today was not bad but coming home was real bad.
And its going to be like this for too F'n long

The project will require traffic restrictions on SR 87.
After Labor Day (Sept. 6, 2010), northbound SR 87 will
be used as a two-way detour during construction on
the southbound lanes until Memorial Day 2011.

Yeah, I got to experience that last weekend coming home from Payson.

I can only imagine as it gets cooler, it will get clogged up pretty good.

I was out that direction a lot over the summer while trying to get pictures of lightning. For the most part I was going though later at night when there wasn't much traffic, but I suspect that it will be really bad on a holiday weekend.
