Whenever I am driving at low speeds (5-20 mph), and am coasting (no gas, no break), there is a low pitched squeak that occurs roughly 2 times per second.

The sound will not occur if I apply the gas or break.

Any ideas???

brake pad wear sensors maybe? When was the last time you had new pads installed? Whenever ive heard that sound, my rear pads were low and had to get them replaced.

Thanks for the suggestion... it doesnt sound like its from the breaks, but I need to do the rears anyway!

Any other ideas?

I'd guess one of the anti-rattle springs in the front broke and either the broken spring or the pad is grazing on the rotor. I've had this (first scenario) happen, was only audible when driving slow. Finally figured out the location of the sound by having wife drive while I ran alongside the car in a parking lot.
