Got a 85 fj60, 140,000 miles, desmogged. Has been running great, When I get to 2000 rpm's it starts to sputtering. Problem started gradually now very consistent. It idles great runs great, unless you get up to 2000 rpms. It has a new fuel filter on it. Really puzzled. Any suggestions? Thanks,

It sounds like the decel fuel cut system is cutting fuel off, since it can't "see" engine vacuum now.
Check decel fuel cut system per the emissions FSM.
