i have some other springs off a heep, so im going out to jack up the truck and take the spring packs apart and make a new stiffer set? any comments or past experiance i should know about???...use only the long ones right?

I'd just try one leaf at a time. Try to find one that will fit right below the first two with the military wraps. John
 
I've got a set of Alcan 40 lift springs you may want to look at.
 
Ooh Alcans... really? Are they for SUA or SOA? How much lift? If Shawn doesn't want 'em that is...

well put two leafs in the pack lifted the back almost 2" i used the long ones but the heep stuff is a 1/4 " narrower so they look funny but kinda like the way it rides on the street.. we will se how it :steer:
 
Would they fit on a 60?

I've got a set of Alcan 40 lift springs you may want to look at.

Just changed out the back tires to 31" and noticed a bit of saggy 60 syndrome. Looking to get 1" or so of lift over stock just to give me a little more clearance, but don't have major bucks for a brand-new spring pack. Just trying to see if anyone has OEM springs they removed that were in good shape.
