Won't be the same without. Especially since this is my first STR. You guys are here in spirit are your videos are what inspired me to get off my ass and go.Envious. But sitting here with a nasty cold picked up in Europe - knowing this trip wasn't in the cards for us this yearY'all have a blast and take lots of pics for those of us stuck back on the hill.

Bill there will be plenty of opportunities for you to spend $$$. We will still have to pick up fresh veggies etc for the salad.

Nice. Looks like you guys are ready to roll. Late start but we are in the Raleigh area now. Will stay in Manteo tonight and head up to Corolla in the morning. Ready for the rain to stop already though.
For everyone, Eric and Stacy (erymer) will be picking up the keys so the house will be open shortly after that (4ish) on Sunday.

I know, I choose a time and mentally add an hour to it. Then I'm happy if I leave/arrive 2 hours from the original...
We are in Charlotte area now. I think we are going to williamston then stopping for the night. Another 2.5 hrs tomorrow to carolla.
Who's idea was to schedule this event during Bike Week? Now I know why E wanted to come down a day early.

Ok so I am going to pick up the shrimp in the morning on the way up. We are looking at $11 per lb. I am estimating about 10 lbs on top of the other items in the boil should handle this group. I need to grab the potatoes, corn,onions and sausage on the way as well. If anyone hasn't planned a meal and would like to just chip in, that's fine with me and it will definitely help out. As an added treat I'm bringing my secret stash of Cajun seasonings from a buddy that lives in Thibodaux. So we are bringing a little southern Louisiana to OBX. Lol. Also got a bottle of Cajun rum to share. If there is any seafood Anyone needs let me know and I'll try and grab it while I am there.
We ended up stopping in rockymount. Hope to be there by 2.

Monday night seafood is bought. 8 lbs of shrimp and 5 lbs of crawfish.
How many parking spots are we allowed?Hope we have enough parking spots! Heck I hope we just make it. According to alignment shop my truck isn't alignable without replacing one of my tie rods. Also need shims for under the axle apparently. Will be playing ping pong the whole way up!
