A question: Do we need to bring bed linens and towels, or are they already there?

I am pretty sure the description of the house states that linens are provided.

As for the food we will do what we are told!

  • Monday: Rymers are planning/hosting the Seafood Boil, this is for 11 adults and 13 kids. Let Bill know what to help out with/bring.
  • Tuesday: Keefers and Traylors will handle Mexican (11 adults, 13 kids)
  • Wednesday: Night out (could shift days depending upon what we're doing)
  • Thursday: Switching this to Spaghetti night, we'll let the SC guys take this for planning ease and amount of items needed (15 adults, 13 kids)
  • Friday: Grill Night, everybody bring enough meat/grill products to handle your crew + a few extra (then we'll make sure we have enough for sharing), + bring a side (sign up)
  1. Keefers:
  2. Rymers:
  3. Traylors:
  4. Gabe:
  5. Aqua:
  6. Bill:
  7. Eric/Sarah:
  8. Sean:
  9. Johnny & Laura: (depending upon time of course)
  • Saturday: ONSC Beach Party Seafood Extravaganza and Beer Garden
Bring some local beer to contribute to the garden, and we'll make a menu up by Friday. I think with potential full fridges, limited space in everyone's truck, and wanting fresh seafood, we'll plan this by Friday and send out a search party for things we might need.

Brian

Will get with Aqua about spaghetti details. One of us will post up what we are doing asap.

Laura and I will figure out what side we want to bring and will post up.

I know that this has been discussed before, but what's the dog situation? Are we at our limit or can I bring our mutt as well?

Johnny, Leucas was figured into our 2 dog max (we're not counting the Traylor's chihuahua's!) :)

And yes linens are provided, which also found unique...

Thanks brother :D

So, in an unexpected turn of events, a close college friend of mine is going to be in town from Saturday (day after tomorrow) through Sunday May 3rd. Would it be OK with the club if I brought him along? We'd all be in the same room / bring even more food / I'd pay for his expenses and everything.

He's my age and a car nut, although his addiction is entirely related Porsches at the moment.

Thanks everyone. I'm pumped!!!

Should I seek out some firewood to bring for Friday / Saturday fires?

Do I need to bring the 150 quart cooler ,or is that just overkill?

If you have room I would bring it.

Yes, I think having extra coolers is a plus, if you have the space. I would bring firewood if you have access to it Johnny. How much are you thinking?

All, instead of assigning people to bring certain items, I am requesting everyone plan on bringing the following items (even if it's just a small amount):

TP, Paper towels, paper plates, solo cups, and some utensils, garbage bags.

I will be bringing my camp kitchen, and everyone who has camped with me knows, I've got enough stuff in it to facilitate cooking for a small army.

I've got my trailer, so if I brought any, it'd be in that, so I've got lots of room. 1/4 chord? Less/more than that?

I guess I should have asked this before, but beach bonfires are allowed, right?

It'll be neat to have the trailer out on the sand :grinpimp:

Hope we have enough parking spots! Heck I hope we just make it. According to alignment shop my truck isn't alignable without replacing one of my tie rods. Also need shims for under the axle apparently. Will be playing ping pong the whole way up!
