I will measure mine tomorrow for you but I know they are the swame springs that come on the front, 10 leaf, of the Heep CJ2A, CJ3A and CJ5. 1946 through 56 I think. Try this link: http://members.aol.com/brimiljeep/WebPages/JeepTrailerPage.html

Length of springs center line of eyes is 36 1/4". Spring width is 1 3/4". Number of leaves, 10 held together by one center bolt and four rebound clips. Double wrap millitary eyes on both ends. Held to trailer frame by pivot bolt on front and "U" shackle in rear. Shocks are the same Gabriel that you find on a CJ5 of that year. Hope that helps. Sorry bout the inch measurements. They are American measurements from the millitary service manual. You can get the service manual from Portrayal press TM 9-871A, 1/4 ton 2 wheel cargo trailer M100.

If you bought them for a Heep you will need to knock out the pressed in bushings on each end to get enough clearance for the "U" shackles. Then they screw right in. The left side hase reversed threads. Screw them down just short of snug or they will not rotate in place as they are supposed to. Impact driver needed there. Slow and steady and a bit of grease realy helps the threads seat properly. Really pretty easy. Grease the shackles when assembled and your good to go.
