Maybe consider those "coil-over" shock/spring units for ease of swapping from leaf springs?

You can either find a way to weigh the front of the vehicle, you can take a wild guess, or you can use some mock-up springs that you know the rate of and figure out how much the front end weighs, based off how far the nose drops.

Hello .. those are 200-300lb/in coils .. I've estimate around 4" drop with bumper and winch.
 
put mopre support on that upper link mount...
 
you really need linear rate coils to do that measurement, sorry... could be anywhere from 800-1200lbs per corner with your 4" drop measurement.
