hi,
Potential new members. My wife and I are thinking about making the trip up from Boston, we own a stock FJ62 bought last year (31"bfgs) haven't had a chance to take it off road yet. As newbies would the stocker run be a time to do that? Also is there a list of mandatory equipment needed to run the trail?

Thanks very much, we look forward to meeting everyone.

your truck will be great on stock trails. what tires did you get? i ran the stock run a few years ago with my new to me fj62... it had new 31" bridgestone MTs on it and i lost 4wd... i only needed to be strapped 3x! it was a great day.

haha, sounds like fun... Thanks for the responses guys. I have 31" BFGs... she's my daily driver.

I'm trying to locate some of the mandatory equipment to run the trail. Let's hope I do. I'll be bummed if I can partake.

Any suggestions on where to get a Hi Lift, and tow strap in the boston/surrounding areas?

thanks again.

Don't let the lack of a jack and strap keep you from coming to the meeting and trail ride. There will be enough on hand to have you covered.

Welcome to the club!

I'll be headded through Boston coming from RI. Where are you guys meeting?

we definately need a meeting spot. as i see it, we have to head out rte 2 to get there. there is a big mobile station at the bottom of a big hill and after a very sharp turn on rte 2. it is past the 95 rte 2 intersection so that is good.

a bunch of us can meet there.

i say we meet at 8AM. 2 hours for a bunch of slow LCs to make it to Lane's.

does that work for people?

Hey YT'rs!!!

I'm getting all sentimental over here in western NY reading all this. I wish I could go wheeling with you guys.

I was actually going to try to make the meeting, but I will be traveling during those dates. If I don't see you guys earlier, I will catch up with everyone at the FG this year. Melissa, Rocco and I will be attending!

ALSO, "Grime" is my boy, so take care of him and his sweet arse 62!!!

Hope you guys have some fun!

Cheers,

Jon R:cheers:

Peepers- I know that Mobil. Looks like a good spot as any to meet up. Count me in.

JR- Stinks you can't be there. Figures you talk me into buying a cruiser, then move away!

Thanks for vouching for me and the 62!

So Grime, a friend of Jon's huh, We will expect
you to wheel like him, bring plenty of extra parts! : )

Dawn and I should be there sans kids. We will not be able to hit the trails as we have a prior commitment in Concord in the afternoon. Possibly a potential member coming also.

Guess I'm heading up solo in the Beamer. The 45 is too slow and not sure about long distance reliability. Certainly not wheeling in it so It'll stay in it's cave.

Anyone have room for me? I'll bring a helmet and some Depends.

also, beamer is the bike, bimmer is the car isnt it?
