Here is the next question: do we have to show up in our TLC, or would it be possible to bum a ride with someone else in the afternoon (and bring regstration as proofof ownership)? Mine is still not driveable and the is particular about having her ride abused.

you can always bum a ride. be prepared to be the designated camera man!

Potential new members. My wife and I are thinking about making the trip up from Boston, we own a stock FJ62 bought last year (31"bfgs) haven't had a chance to take it off road yet. As newbies would the stocker run be a time to do that? Also is there a list of mandatory equipment needed to run the trail?
