Does anyone have a hookup on spray in bed liners?

Thx

Kevin,

I don't have a hook up but I have a couple times sprayed the tubs of my own jeeps. I actually sprayed the duraliner Bedliner spray that you can buy in a parts store. It worked great! I know I had a guy at line-x look at it and he said he would have never known that I had did it myself. If you decide to go this route give me a call. I'll come over and help. It shouldn't take too long. It took about 10 cans to do the compete inside of a jeep. That is including the rear swing door as well and that is applying 3 coats. Once again give me a call if you wanna do this yourself and I'll be happy to come over and help.

Blaine knows someone that owns a bedliner shop. Ill see if I can get him to post the info. Im thinking about getting the rocker panels on our 80 done after I pull the flares.

Great, thx

Tino,

Hey whats up? Glad to see you on here! Anyways, the answer to your question is yes. They can spray to your specific paint color. I know Line-x for sure can do this. It is a little steeper in price but not really bad. I have heard of guys painting over their bedliner with regular auto paint, but not sure what steps would need to be taken in order to do that. Welcome though! Thank you for the website, I sent the guy an email still waiting to hear back from him...:wrench:

You can purchase Tintable Bedliner in a can too...

Hey Sully,
So i called around in SA and majority of the shop spray only in black except Line-x which charges $600 bux to spray plus $200 extra for a custom color.... :( so much for that

Tino,

What are you wanting to spray? Are you wanting to do the interior? If so, and you don't care if it is in color, I would say do it yourself.... Line x is double the cost here as anywhere else I've lived. I've been qouted around 300 for complete inside in color before by two other line x shops...

Spray it yourself with UPOL Raptor. They have a color tintable version. I think the kit runs $100.

Ditto. I used the same stuff on my flares and after 3yrs there hasn't been any change (given my 'cruiser stays in the garage). I would not recommend the tintable version unless you have mixed it before, the color doesn't come out the same as expected. I also used the liner on my dad's ARB front bumper for his 4runner, and it turned out great. Make sure you have a good sized compressor, regulator, water separator and inline descant bottle. If you do go this route, I would be happy to give you some pointers about spraying technique to achieve the correct texture. I would actually offer to help but that just depends on my schedule.

Well, seeing as I do not own a compressor big enough, it would be awesome if we could do it on a wrench day. I figure you owe me anyway seeing as how you stole the winch out from under me.

ha.

I'm wanting to spray the bed of my truck so it wont be as detailed as the inside of a tub.

LOL still feeling burned? You just never know when I may sneak out of the shadows.

I have no problem helping with the compressor and spraying. The problem is that I don't have much free time these days especially on Saturdays.
