Speedway Motors online at the above address and I know they also sell on Amazon.

I needed some brake line fittings so I could install my hydro boost in my 80. I had planned three days, perhaps four, to get it plumbed in and all wrapped up. I ordered parts on June 28th and paid for expedited shipping so I could have them on Friday the second. I paid a little more so I would have some cushion and they would have the parts to my door by July 1.

So, on June 30 I get an email that some of the parts that were backordered (did not show that on the site at the time of the order) would be shipping out on the 1st and not delivered until the 6th. I immediately call and speak with customer service. After a brief discussion, where I reminded them I paid for expedited shipping, he said no problem. I guarantee you will have the order by July 2.

So, July 2nd comes and goes, no delivery. It does not show up until almost 5pm on July 6th. Shot the holiday weekend I planned to use to get it done. Shot it to hell. I call on July 7 to complain and request a refund of the expedited shipping. The customer service agent (Andrea) was beyond not helpful and actually argumentative and then stated: "we don't guarantee expedited shipping". To which I responded, why did I pay extra for a service you would not guarantee? Anyway, after a minute or so she offered to forward me to customer service. Over 45 minutes on hold and no answer. Now, add to that, they shorted me on one part!

Filed a complaint with the CC company and they credited my shipping, I was not going to waste my time on the part but, should have. It was not about the money, it was about getting the service I paid for and then, their terrible customer service.

So, in closing, just don't patronize companies who don't value you or your business. Far more companies out there who are worthy of our money....
 
Bummer. I’ve bought a ton of stuff from speedway in the past and never had any issue.

I have learned with pretty much any catalog or online order to be wary of expedited shipping especially around holidays. If I really need it fast I call to confirm part availability and shipping times. I have paid for expedited shipping more than once with other companies to end up having the shipping date delayed for one reason kr another but when it does ship it is expedited 😂
 
I called before I ordered for assistance and suggestions. The person I was working with made some suggestions and indicated that items were in stock but did not specifically ask if all were in stock. He was helpful but, he was not what I would call super knowledgeable. That or he just did not understand the application. Could also have been me... :meh:
