So while the dude at best buy was installing my stereo system he had to take out some screws in my dash and move things around to get my head unit to fit inside. After getting eveything completed i drove off, only to find a mile or so later that my speedometer wasn't working :whoops: , the damn thing said i was going zero miles and hour. So do you think it just got loose while he was tinkering and i just need to tighted some screws in there, or what?

thanks!

You probably pulled the cable out of the back of the speedometer. It's supposed to screw into the back of the meter, but I know that mine is a real pain to reach, and sometimes it's just held in there by the stiffness of the cable housing. Remove the six or so screws and pop out the instrument cluster. You should then be able to tell if the speedometer cable is plugged into the back of the meter.
