spectra csf rebuild... radiators

Anyone have experience with a Spectra radiator? I have an 11 year old CSF that is shot, the fins are dissolving and a shop said it could only be rebuilt with an all new core to the tune of $540. Autozone has the all metal Spectra for $255. I know the rebuild at the shop will be industrial quality and the CSF is ok but the fins are thin, is the Spectra any different? I would prefer no trans cooler so the CSF may not even be an option as the search tells me the FJ60 specific model has been discontinued.

Yes one os the spectra radiators has been on my truck for the past 4+ years. No issues...4 core brass type.
