Just wondering if there is a special paint for asbestos siding?
Wife and I bought the house going on 6yrs ago now and starting to get more to the outside of the house now that much of the inside is done to our liking. The house was built in 1963 (we bought from the original owners children) and has asbestos siding that is in relatively good shape. We will be looking to have the rear windows replaced on the house as they had replaced the front half of the house when they were getting ready to sell it. Still has the crappy aluminum single pane windows that we can hear everything through...
Anyways, figured that once we figured out what we were going to do with the windows we would paint the siding as it is all in relatively good condition but want to ensure that we do it right as I know asbestos is a hazardous material if the tiles actually break.
