Hey guys,
Im working on a on board water system and had a question with some electrical i wanted to know if i can use the tank water to connect the ground side of a circuit

For example i want to put a grounded post at the bottom of the tank and at certain increments put a ground post for a led so when the water is up to a post the water connects the ground post to the led ground
Will this work?

I would not do that, there are many liquid level devices out there, anything from float / reed switches at multiple levels, a large singular float that changes resistance based upon position, ultrasonic level sensor ( least option as more for stationary containers ) etc
