For those of you with SPC upper control arms, how often do you all grease? Every 1-2 years? I'm sure it's usage dependent, but just wanted to get them on a maintenance cycle. I don't have any issues with them, just want an idea of how often I should be regreasing. Also, any grease that you all recommend? Thanks.

I grease the ball joint with each oil change. We only put about 12-13k miles on the truck per year, most of which is in the summer, so anywhere from 3 or 9 months between greasing.

I don't think the brand of grease matters that much. IIRC NLGI #2 or something like that is recommended. Regular greasing with a tub of lard is probably better than never greasing them.

Every +/- 5k miles with my oil changes. Pretty easy, a couple pumps of moly.

Same interval that has been mentioned already...every oil change or every 6 months if I haven’t been driving it much.

Since I happen to have the SPC pdf on my iPad:

11.Grease ball joint with an NLGi #2, Grade LB with 3%-5% Molybdenum Disulfide grease. 5 to10 pumps of grease is sufficient at each lubrication.

I’ve been using Valvoline Moly gray grease

Sounds consistent with what I heard from Slee.

Bought my used LC a couple weeks ago, and the PO had Slee install the SPC UCAs with the OME suspension. Called Slee to get up to speed on what I bought and was told to grease the UCAs a couple times a year with moly grease until I see the grease ooze out.

I grease mine at every oil change unless I'm on the trails for a few days or weeks straight, then I grease more often. I keep a mini grease gun in my drawers with moly JIC.

i grease the ball joint as well as the primary bushings about every 5k. to 7k or when i think about it. I use Green grease. Actually i grease everything at these times, even the pita front drive, which for me requires a requires a regular grease gun and a mini needle.

Where should I see grease ooze out? I did 10 pumps on each side, but didn't see any come out. Should I continue until I see some push out somewhere?
