Full size spare and kdss spacers to make it fit

I've never actually seen this advice, but it makes so much sense. Do you lose much ground clearance with spacers? Have you noticed the swaybar impacting the tire at all? Will it work with stock skids?

Running only rear spacers doesn't really make sense to me... The system would be imbalanced.

Not really… the bar does sit a little lower but the bottom of the rear diff still sits lower. No idea on it contacting the stock skid.

It does make one of the bolts on the piston contact my cbi skid. I know I said otherwise a few months ago, but since then I’ve noticed a mark where it’s been contacting… planning on drilling a hole through the skid on that spot.

Can’t really comment on running rears only other than tons of guys on here do it with no reported issues.

Datapoint: Falken Wildpeak AT4W size 265/70/17 spare tire is fitting nicely with approx 1/2” clearance on the KDSS bar. I had to ditch the class III Curt hitch to make it happen, but I don’t really tow anyway so I’m very happy.
