Spare tire size

I changed the original 16 inchers to the updated 18s. Does the spare also need to match due to the all time 4 wheel drive.

Overall tire size is more critical than rim diameter, but even then, if you're only using the spare for short distances to limp home, not a worry as long as you don't lock the center diff (or rear, but I think you have LX, correct?).

If it bothers you, I have an OEM sized spare on an 18" run I'd trade you for. I might be driving PHX to Denver next weekend...

technically yes but unless you changed significantly most likely it's not a big deal. You have differentials which allow your wheels to turn at different rates, which would compensate for different tire diameters.

what size 18" tires are you running?
